The Nail Championships rules

Professional Beauty Company Points Challenge – The Manchester Qualifying Heat:
“FREE ENTRY!” This is a company/supplier challenge to encourage your product supplier/training provider to support you in entering competitions. This is based on entry points accumulated at the Professional Beauty Nail Competitions in Manchester 2010 and London 2011. They will be awarded one point for every competitor who enters any category and uses their products. Please ensure the appropriate box is completed on your entry form. The winner will be announced at the nail competition awards ceremony in London next March..

“Student Nail Championships"
“FREE ENTRY!” Professional Beauty is really encouraging training companies, product suppliers and colleges to support newly trained nail technicians entering a nail competition for the first time. To qualify, you must enter the Tip and Overlay Novice category, have been doing nails of any type or system for less than 2 years and have never entered a nail competition before. Competitors should also enter as many other categories as possible to accumulate points. You will receive 3 points for any 1st place, 2 points for any 2nd place and 1 point for any 3rd place. The winner will be announced at the nail competition awards ceremony on Monday 11th October. Please refer to the general rules for full details.

“The Nail Team Points Accumulator”
“FREE ENTRY!” Professional Beauty point’s accumulator allows all nail competitors to support each other and work as a team, whist still also competing individually. Each team can have up to 6 members, who must all complete an individual entry form and enter in the normal way before the deadline date. You can come from the same salon, private training school, product company or college, but could also be a group of friends spread all over the world! You do not have to have the same address, company products, uniform etc to enter as a team, all you need is a team name. If you do all enter together, take advantage of the 6+ discount rate and save money on your entry fees! Separate “Team Entry Forms” are available to download from the PB website and will be available to complete at the nail registration desk on the day. You do not need to notify the organisers in advance of your team, please just hand in the completed team form at the nail registration desk on the day. All team members will receive 3 points for any 1st place, 2 points for any 2nd place and 1 point for any 3rd place gained in any category, so try to organise that every category will be entered by at least one or two team members to gain maximum possible points.
